Fund the science. Protect the Future.

Make an Impact

Science is the foundation.

Hunters and conservationists often talk about science-based management. But without independent, well-funded science, the very foundation of science-based management becomes weak and unstable.

Historically, game bird research is severely underfunded. Birds often fall far below more popular game species such as deer and elk when already tight budgets are being allocated. Reductions in federal grants and the loss of support for critical surveys and counts have only compounded this longstanding problem.

The purchase of game bird hunting licenses, stamps, and permits contributes financially, but federal money is often unavailable to match these funds because big game usually comes first when budgets are allocated. Donations to organizations that support wildlife research can help fill gaps that would otherwise go unfilled.

well-funded Research Matters.

Wildlife management works best when it is rooted in credible data and field-tested findings. Yet too often, research goes unfunded. Graduate students struggle to secure grants. Studies and counts stall. Critical questions remain unanswered.

We believe:

  • Practical research should drive conservation decisions
  • Scientists should have access to the resources they need
  • Data should inform policy and stewardship

Your support makes this possible.

Your Gift Makes It Possible.

Every dollar moves applied research forward and ensures science remains the foundation of responsible game bird management.

If you believe conservation should be guided by credible research and real results, this is your moment to act.

Support science-based conservation today.
